A star that led to everything. The origins of 5.5.
If you don't know how 5.5 started then this post is perfect for you. 5.5 or Room 5.5 is a self proclaimed room next to room 6 and room 5 at Melrose Magnet Elementary. At Melrose, stars were a big thing. Each class would line up in front of a star before school, after lunch, and after recess. The 5.5 logo is modeled after the stars at Melrose and is SADLY very inspired by lots of things from Melrose :(. (I don't like that school.)
5.5 TIMELINE:
A random day in April (I honestly don't remember)- I line up in front of a blank start in between the stars of room 5 and room 6. I called it ROOM 5.5.
May 30th, 2023- Julien publishes version 1.0 of the official room 5.5 website.
May 31st, 2023- ROOM 5.5 gets its first update.
June 1st, 2023- ROOM 5.5 gets a blog page.
June 4th, 2023- Update 2.0 releases being the self proclaimed "Biggest Update in ROOM 5.5 history."
June 6th, 2023- ROOM 5.5 gets 25 updates in 1 day, the most ever.
June 8th, 2023- Julien adds a false countdown to update 2.1.
June 10th, 2023- Julien changed the website name from ROOM 5.5 to RM 5.5
July 22nd, 2023- Julien Updates the website after the longest wait in RM 5.5 history up to that point.
August 8th, 2023- Update 2.2 releases being the second self proclaimed "Biggest Update In RM 5.5 History."
August 12th, 2023- RM 5.5 Youtube channel created
August 14th, 2023-Update 2.3 releases with the shortest lasting page ever the Photo Album page...
August 16th, 2023- Update 2.4 releases.
September 1st, 2023- RM 3.00 releases being the third self proclaimed "Biggest Update In RM 5.5 History"
September 8th, 2023- RM 4.00 releases.
November 4th, 2023- rm5p5.com is bought by 5.5 Co.
November 4th, 2023- RM 5.50 releases being the fourth proclaimed "Biggest update in RM 5.5 history."
November 15th, 2023- RM 5.5 Reddit created
November 22nd, 2023- RM 5.60 releases
November 28th, 2023- RM 5.5 Discord Created
January 2nd, 2024- 5.5 Fandom Created
January 3rd, 2024- RM 5.70 releases being the fifth proclaimed "Biggest update in RM 5.5 history"
January 10th, 2024- Nathan is the first person to ever crash 5.5.
January 30th, 2024- This article is posted.
